Bull. Labs. Nat. Hist. St. Univ. Iowa 9(4): 25-26. Type-species: Eudamus albofasciatus Hewitson, 1867, Descr. one hundred new spec. Hesp. (1): 3-4, no. 2, by original designation.

Original Combination: G[oniurus]. Zilpa

Type Locality: “Cartago, Costa Rica”

Types: Holotype in BMNH.
