Polygonus leo (LECTOTYPE of Papilio amyntas Fabricius, 1775) [ZMUC]. This specimen is also a neotype of Polygonus lividus Hübner, [1825] and lectotype of Papilio leo Gmelin, [1790], which is a replacement name for Papilio amyntas Fabricius, 1775, preoccupied by Papilio amyntas Poda, 1761, Ins. Mus. graec.: 79. The neotype of lividus and lectotype of amyntas designated by Mielke and Casagrande (2002), Revta. bras. Zool. 19(supl. 1): 39.
